Update Notes 06/06/25 - Legendary Fish | |
![]() ![]() |
A Legendary fisherman has started spreading rumors about Legendary fish in the Fishing guild. Speak to him if you think you have what it takes to catch some Legendary fish!
Legendary fishing spots will spawn when fishing in the correct location from the rumor.
They’re random but take an average of 20 minutes to spawn (regardless of how fast you’re catching fish).
The more you fish, the higher the chance a Legendary spot will spawn, so you shouldn’t be too unlucky and waiting forever.
Once spawned, the spot will last 3 minutes, so don’t miss it!
Fishing at this spot will give you a high chance to catch a legendary fish. Bring it back to the Legendary fisherman for your reward!
The Legendary fisherman will reward you with a fishing outfit that offers bonus xp when worn, as well as various versions of the tackle box, from beginner to legendary.
Each tackle box can hold 4 types of bait as well as 4 types of raw fish, up to a certain amount based on tier.
Beginner: 6 Fish and 1500 bait
Basic: 12 Fish and 2500 bait
Standard: 18 Fish and 4000 bait
Professional: 24 Fish and 6500 bait
Legendary: 30 Fish and unlimited bait (Max integer)
You can equip a tackle box in the trinket slot or keep it in your inventory; it will automatically use bait from it.
You can also fill it with fish in either place.
You can save its state, bait, and fish contents with bank presets.
After you’ve unlocked all the rewards, you can continue to get more rumors for bonus experience if you wish to.
If you lose your tackle box or any pieces of the outfit you can reclaim them by talking to the Legendary fisherman.
When crafting combination runes you will now automatically use the essence from pouches and familiar inventories, and receive 3x runes per successful craft.

Aggressive NPCs will now wait a moment after you teleport in to start attacking you, instead of trying to attack while you’re still under teleport invincibility.
The low fences and gates around Burgh de Rott are now passable.
The Digsite Pendant now works with teleports to the Digsite, Senntisten, and The Exam Centre.
The Dragon Claws special attack now has its sound effect.
